Why are accountants boring?

My view is that accounting in general is thought of as boring. The same can be said about accountants.

Most view accountants as boring people so why are they boring? Unless they're not and it's just simply a matter of reputation that people think this way about them?

It wouldn’t be the most accurate claim that accountants are boring because people with different types of personalities can do accountancy.

Perhaps some might think that the work they do is boring, but that’s simply a matter of preference. I might think history is boring while others view that as exciting.

Accountants might come across as structured or analytical and that’s because their job requires that mindset. That doesn’t mean they’re boring, instead you might find an accountant interesting as they are intellectual people.
